Pedro Rocha (Porto, 1973) is a curator of music, sound art and performance based in Porto.
Since 1997, his main activity has been collaborating with the Serralves Foundation where he has been responsible since 2001 for the annual music program of the Museum of Contemporary Art as well as the Serralves em Festa festival. He was one of the curators of the performing arts festival Trama and currently co-curates the program The Museum As Performance.
Since 2014, he has been collaborating with Pirelli Hangar Bicocca art center in Milan where he is responsible for the music and sound performance for the public programme.
In 2017, he participated in the curatorship of the project P! / Performance in the Public Sphere, which involved a program of performances, conferences and a book, as well as Performance Day # 2 at Ferme du Buisson (Noisiel/Paris) and the program of residencies and artistic interventions in the city of Porto, Out There.
In 2019, Pedro Rocha joins forces with Mark Fell for a specially commissioned section of the festival here called "Tactical Contact" that sees artists invited to create new collaborative pieces of work premiered at No Bounds.
