Jungyals & Gays (JGNG) emerged in 2023 from a university creative project and has since evolved into a vital force in the London rave landscape. Their story began with a humble "Garage in the Garage" house party featuring friends and close community members—what started as a dissertation project about the challenges marginalized groups face in the re-emerging rave scene blossomed into a movement grounded in inclusivity, safety, and shared celebration.
At the heart of JGNG is the ethos “inclusive, not exclusive.” While their events place a clear emphasis on promoting queer and female DJs, producers, and artists, everyone is invited to participate—provided they commit to respect, safety, and positivity. Through an unwavering no-tolerance policy, meticulous curation, and ongoing educational messaging, they’ve crafted events where marginalized voices are uplifted and the dancefloor feels like sanctuary.
