Other Words for Anger is a collective founded by 'T', a survivor of child sexual exploitation, based in Rotherham. 'T' frequently campaigns for the rights of survivors and acts as an advocate and mentor to others also dealing with these issues. As well as being a youth worker, she is a writer and regularly speaks at conferences around the UK to raise awareness. 'T' is currently in the process of setting up a new peer support group Voice for Adult Survivors Trust (VAST) in Rotherham.
Other Words for Anger has produced a publication and a two-screen sound and video installation, premiered at our first Other Words for Anger event held in Rotherham, 2018. The event brought together survivors and local and international artists.
At No Bounds they will be collaborating with Angharad Williams at Kelham Island Museum as part of Tactical Contact.
