Rainy Miller is the solo project of Preston-born, Manchester-based artist, producer and label head Jack Bowes. Focused on putting the spotlight onto the vibrant emerging scene of the North West of England, Rainy founded his label FIXED ABODE in 2020 as a platform to showcase the wealth of local talent, whilst producing for and collaborating with local highly-tipped artists Blackhaine,Iceboy Violet, Hyperdawn amongst others.
Creating deeply personal music that marries fragile, delicate moments with visceral, aggressive
energy, Rainy is creating his own path to recognition. Following up his debut project
‘Desquamation’ (2022), Rainy released the critically acclaimed full-length via his own Fixed Abode imprint - ‘A Grisaille Wedding’ (2023) - featuring collaborations from the likes of Mica Levi, Coby Sey, Voice Actor, amongst others.
